So the following video from Corning has been making the rounds and while I’m completely enamored of the idea (I love the tables that pull data off of the phones, whether they are video chats or projects, and of course the minority report-like glass screens are a personal dream of mine) I don’t know if I agree with the “near future” label.
After all, I have enough problems these days sending files from one phone to another, or reading documents that someone has created on an alternate operating system. And just how are these things transmitting data to each other?
But don’t let me be a negative nancy science. Please please please try to make this world- I desperately want to live there.
